On January 25, the much-anticipated Art Festival and Inaugural Dinner of the Chinese version of ARTnews was held in Chengdu, China’s most artistically vibrant city.

The Chinese version of “ARTnews” and the Ancestral Hall Street Art Community jointly created the “Wild Ambition·Growth Art Exhibition”. Many guests attended the opening ceremony of the “Wild Ambition·Growth Art Exhibition”. Ms. Han Xiao, Director of the Qingyang District Commerce Bureau of Chengdu, delivered a speech. During the opening ceremony, the Chinese version of ARTnews and Ancestral Hall Street also held a plaque presentation ceremony to jointly promote the advancement of art and promote creative collisions and exchanges between different artists. “Wild Ambition and Growth – Chen Yujun and Qu Fengguo Art Exhibition” was held at the Ancestral Hall Street Art Community from January 25 to February 18. The two artists, Chen Yujun and Qu Fengguo, presented their different understandings and explorations of the theme of “growth”.

In addition, the Jiachen Dragon Year Artists Exhibition was also opened in the Ancestral Hall Street Art Community. Important strategies of the Chinese version of ARTnews are revealed

On the evening of the ceremony, Vicky Yin Chunying, publisher of the Chinese version of ARTnews, shared a series of important strategies for the Chinese version of ARTnews in 2024: including participating in the reporting of large-scale art exhibitions and important art events, promoting and funding important art creation projects; on the first anniversary of the founding of the journal, the most valuable and contributing art list will be selected and launched. The first list of the Chinese version of ARTnews advisory committee was also announced at the event, and certificates were awarded.

The Chinese version of ARTnews will also cooperate with various parties, including the creation of offline exhibition spaces and practice spaces, which will be completed in Beijing as a creation and research and development center integrating art and technology. The Chinese version of ARTnews will work with the Beijing International Film Festival to open the first film exhibition in China that focuses on the development of commercial art short films, “Art Mirror to the End·Film Unit”.
